Samsung Officially Named “The Next Galaxy” as Samsung Galaxy S3? Yes, that right Samsung has again hinted that its “Next Galaxy” will be named as Galaxy S III. The Korean giant has recently unveiled a new app ~ UNPACKED in the Google Play making specific notification of the phone’s rumored name.
The app is actually an information package for all the Samsung Android lover to easily follow up with the latest press release, smartphone information and live streaming for Samsung’s Galaxy S3 launching event in London on May 3.
The use of a number is somehow different from Samsung’s earlier strategy of applying the Roman character instead of the Arabic numeric in the trialing end of the phone name e.g. “Galaxy S II” instead of the “Galaxy S2″.
But how will Samsung assign the name for its “next Galaxy” series, guess we need to wait until May 3 for Samsung to reveal everything during the event. Anyway, we are expecting Samsung to come out with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.5GHz quadcore Exynos 4212 processor and an overclocked graphics GPU, along with a 12-megapixel camera and a sexy new exterior design.
